We will be at the Montreal Botanical garden for the first edition of the Winter Market.

The event takes place from December 8th to the 11th in the main Hall.

I read an interesting article in the Montreal Gazette on Thursday, April 7 (page A 2). Scientists at the University of Western Ontario say a substance called "nobiletin" found in high concentrations in tangerines helps to prevent obesity and Type 2 diabetes in lab mice. The substance also protected against atherosclerosis, the disease responsible for heart attacks and strokes. Of course, a human connection has not been proven yet, but studies are continuing.
